Fishing for Silver Bass

Sea fishing in the UK is a complex mix of cold nights on the beach and hot summer days surrounded by bathing holiday makers. Not a great mix if you really want to head down the beach and go Bass Fishing.

The Bass is also a stealthy critter. Never too keen to be found by the Bass angler, yet worth every penny and every ounce of sweat burnt off to catch them. The trick is once you have found them, if you record the details about the tide, time, weather and the day you will often find Bass at the same location, feeding and ready to catch.

The Silver Bass once on your line will scream line of your reel. It will use every rock, weed-bed and other obstacle to try and free it’s self from the hook. Power alone can be enough for it to break the line if you are not ready and your tackle is not set up to perfection.

Good luck in your chance to capture a silver bar, known as a Sea Bass.
